Ezel Doruk
Bio: Ezel Doruk is a multi-faceted clown, performer and sensual somatic practitioner. He thrives in toeing the line between the sacred and the silly, blending the worlds of the jester and the sensualist, embodying desire, humour and approaching the shadow and our dark with insignificance and alacrity.
Ezel cut his teeth as a transformational coach and leader using the methods delivered by Landmark worldwide from 2009. For over a decade he was a high performance coach, leading hundreds of people to breakthroughs with relationships, their careers, their interpersonal relationships and with their relationship with themselves. In 2016 he delved deep into the world of embodiment, non-dual shaivisim and void mysteries through dancing Eros, ISTA and various mystery schools and practitioners, parallel with the great movements towards the body and feminine embodiment mystery teachings that arose from that time.
His unique perspective and blend of clowning, embodiment, Eros, channeled performance and improvisation lends his play shops and group field inquires to continuously have a vibrant and ecstatic thread woven within whilst unearthing tender, weighty and chunky emotional barriers and blocks around freedom, joy and intimacy.

The Hot Seat Playshop is a clown comedy and psycho-drama experience that offers a space to embrace and even celebrate our failures. Drawing on traditional clown warm-ups and group theatre attunement games, participants are guided gently into their bodies, their silliness, and their spontaneity — before meeting the main event: The Chair.
A single seat is placed on the stage. One person takes it. Another enters and attempts — without aggression, manipulation, force or coercion to entice them out of it. What unfolds is a live, unrehearsed theatre of genuine desire. Whatever surfaces — tender, funny, sensual, absurd — is welcome.
The person in the hot seat moves only if the pull is real. That’s the whole game. And it turns out to be a surprisingly revealing one.
