Bio: Marion Ellyard

“Beyond any judgement, with a heart full of acceptance and surrender, there I found a vast void of silence, emptiness and space, filled with bliss, inspiration and joy.”

Marion Ellyard is a passionate woman who has lived a colourful, inquisitive life, rich with energy and exploration. Her lifelong enquiry into the dance between self and other, aloneness and togetherness, has shaped her deep practice and continues to fuel her work.

In life, Marion is a mother to two teenage sons, a devoted partner, a passionate motorbike rider, a yogini, and a lover of nature. Her path has included marriage, open containers, and tantric relationships, giving her personal insight into the complexities and joys of intimacy. For decades, she has been deeply connected to earth-based shamanism and paganism, as well as non-dual teachings and meditation practices.

Since 2014, Marion has hosted and facilitated Australia’s biggest Tantra Festival, the Taste of Love Festival, and is the founder of the Taste of Love Tantra School, where she leads retreats and programs for people from around the world. She is also an international presenter, an ISTA faculty member, a certified counsellor, and a qualified yoga and meditation teacher.

Her extensive training adds depth and nuance to her offerings, with certifications and practice in psychology, trauma, human behaviour, and multiple body-based healing modalities. She specializes in attachment trauma, tantra, intimacy coaching, meditation, shamanic and bioenergetic bodywork, family constellations, and somatic therapy.

Marion is widely regarded as a Tantric Queen—a facilitator who blends warmth, authenticity, and depth with the ability to hold profound transformation. Her Temple Nights are a reflection of this integration, offering participants a rare opportunity to experience connection, healing, and bliss in a sacred container.

Festival Offering:

Experience the Taste of Love Tantra Touch Temple Night

Relax into a playful and deeply nourishing evening filled with touch, sensory delights, and heart-opening joy in a safe and respectful space. Whether you’re embracing self-love, deepening intimacy with a partner, or exploring touch-based connection with others, this transformative Temple Night invites you into a realm of intimacy, vitality, and bliss.

Guided by ancient tantric philosophies, we’ll explore the three primary types of touch—nurturing, remedial, and sensual—all within a safe, optional, and fully guided environment. Through movement, meditation, and somatic exercises, we’ll cultivate presence, connection, and embodiment, allowing you to feel the interplay of emptiness and matter, freedom and attachment, and the beauty of secure, attuned connection.

Marion, a masterful facilitator with over a decade of experience running temples, creates a space where newcomers and experienced participants alike feel welcomed and supported. There is clear guidance on boundaries and personal needs, ensuring that everyone can engage at their own pace while exploring authentic connection and self-awareness.

During the evening, expect a mix of playful, heart-opening experiences, including sensory treats, dance, movement practices, shamanic-inspired touch exercises, bioenergetics to release blockages, and somatic meditation for deep relaxation. A wish-fulfilling corner will offer a unique space for conscious exploration, where you can set intentions and be met with presence and awareness.

In the free-flow segment, you can choose to cuddle, chat, relax, or explore deeper sensuality, all within a container of respect and consent. The space will hold many different flavors of experience, vibrating with joy, connection, and mindful expansion.

Dress in sensual attire if you feel called—this is a space to express yourself freely and authentically. This event is open to singles, couples, and individuals of all sexual orientations and genders, with careful attention to gender balance.
