For more than two decades I have been exploring one central question
How do we become fully alive?
Not simply happier or more successful, but deeply connected to ourselves, to others, and to life itself.
My work brings together ancient wisdom traditions and contemporary therapeutic approaches to support genuine transformation—not through adopting new beliefs, but through direct experience.
Marion Ellyard (Miriam)
At the heart of everything I offer is a simple understanding
When the body feels safe, the heart naturally opens. When awareness deepens, relationships transform. When we reconnect with our authentic nature, life begins to flow with greater clarity, intimacy and purpose.
This philosophy is expressed through one-to-one sessions, workshops, retreats and the Taste of Love Tantra Festivals.
The word Tantra comes from the ancient Sanskrit roots tan ("to weave" or "expand") and tra ("that which liberates").
Originally, Tantra did not describe a set of techniques. It described a way of experiencing life—a state of consciousness in which we recognise the interconnectedness of all things.
Over centuries, practitioners developed methods to cultivate this experience through meditation, embodiment, conscious relationship, ritual, energy work and self-inquiry.
At Taste of Love Tantra, these timeless teachings are integrated with modern trauma-informed understanding, creating experiences that are both deeply transformative and accessible to contemporary life.
Our work honours the contemplative traditions of Classical Tantra, Vajrayana Buddhism, and elements of Shamanic practice, while integrating insights from Somatic Therapies, Gestalt Therapy, Family Constellation Work, attachment theory, nervous system regulation, and contemporary psychology.
The intention is never to imitate ancient traditions, but to allow their wisdom to come alive in a practical and embodied way.
Transformation begins in the body.
Through breath, movement, meditation, mindfulness, nervous system awareness and somatic practices, we learn to reconnect with ourselves beyond the stories of the mind.
Instead of trying to fix ourselves, we cultivate the capacity to feel more fully, become more present, and meet life with openness and resilience.
Embodied Living is the foundation upon which everything else grows.
Relationships have the extraordinary ability to reveal both our deepest wounds and our greatest potential.
Through conscious communication, authentic expression, healthy boundaries, polarity, consent practices and heart-centred connection, relationships become a path of awakening.
Whether working individually, with couples or in groups, we explore how greater awareness can transform the way we meet ourselves and one another.
Every interaction becomes an opportunity for healing, intimacy and growth.
Tantra invites us to embrace the fullness of life.
Rather than rejecting the body or seeking enlightenment somewhere beyond ordinary experience, Tantra teaches us to meet every aspect of being human with awareness, compassion and presence.
Stillness and movement.
Masculine and feminine.
Light and shadow.
Spirit and matter.
Pleasure and pain.
Everything belongs.
As awareness deepens, these apparent opposites become integrated into a richer experience of wholeness.
Founded in 2014, the Taste of Love Tantra Festivals have grown into Australia's longest-running Tantra Festival and one of the country's largest gatherings dedicated to embodiment, conscious relating and tantric wisdom.
Each festival offers its own unique flavour—from immersive bush gatherings surrounded by nature, to vibrant urban festivals and retreat-style experiences—while sharing the same heart and philosophy.
Across workshops, performances, healing spaces, community rituals and embodied practices, participants are invited to explore movement, meditation, dance, creativity, conscious relationships, healing, personal growth and tantric wisdom.
Whether you are completely new or have many years of experience, you are warmly welcome to participate at your own pace and choose your own adventure.
Our intention is to create safe, inspiring spaces where people can reconnect with themselves, discover authentic community and experience what becomes possible when we meet life with openness, curiosity and courage.
While festivals create powerful collective experiences, profound transformation often happens through individual attention.
My private sessions provide a personalised space to explore the unique challenges and opportunities in your life.
Together we work with the body, nervous system, emotions, relationships, unconscious patterns, trauma, personal development and deeper questions of purpose and meaning.
Workshops allow these same principles to be explored within the richness of community, where learning becomes experiential and connection itself becomes part of the healing process.
Every offering is grounded in compassion, curiosity and respect for your unique journey.
Ultimately, everything I offer is an invitation to live more fully.
To inhabit your body.
To open your heart.
To cultivate meaningful relationships.
To embrace the wisdom of your humanity.
And to discover that transformation is not about becoming someone else—
it is about remembering who you already are.
