Caitlyn suffered from clinical depression, anxiety, eating disorder and body image issues. This directly affected her relationship with self and lovers. Being acutely aware of the sexual anxiety created and how that deeply affected those she loved, Caitlyn started doing mindfulness therapy. She realised quickly that getting into the body was needed in order to shift the fear and shame.
After trying many different modalities Caitlyn found Tantra. It was the most powerful, sustaining and expansive of all the personal and spiritual development practices she had encountered. Caitlyn has been adventuring with Tantra since 2011 and is now with the ISTA Apprentice Faculty.
Caitlyn runs the SexyLove Project – a fun and breezy conscious sexuality workshop for 18-30 years and hosts a banging SexyLove blog with information on conscious sexuality, home-play practices and updates on workshops. Workshops and practices focus on Gen Y and younger.
Specialising in expansive practices that are playful and authentic, Caitlyn combines ISTA-esque practice with mindfulness, psychodrama, dance and acting. Caitlyn is also an artist, explorer, biophile and tea fan. Based in Melbourne, Australia.
